When God came
to me to
fight the devil,
he created You,
my angel
as his weapon
with smiling eyes burning,
innocence,
a fervor, heavenly
to make me give
my life for you,
with every breath
die for you
until he once
takes me away
To make me find You
my saviour,
God showed me dreams of Eden,
haunted me with snakes and
dying trees,
chased me with lightnings
until I was bleeding,
stroke empty crosses
on a hill in rain,
in crusades and inquisitions,
drowning in floods
he made me cry and feel shame,
he sentenced me for doubts and weakness
with his holy mercy of pain
When God came
to me to
fight the devil,
the devil fought back
but his weapon
was the same
My angel,
my passion,
my eternal obsession,
my pleasure,
my pain,
heaven and hell
unite
when I speak your name
The past:
The first version of this page ("wantenworld") started in 1999 and
grew considerably in the following years, accompanied by the integrated
network "poets-online",
one of the first international poetry networks on the net. With
it came a Yahoo! poetry group, monthly newsletters and many hundred registered
followers worldwide.
In 2005 I was forced to delete most art and poetry sections, after
a law had been passed that widely excepted the internet from legal protection
of free speech.
Part by part, both "wantenworld" and "wanten.de" disappeared completely
until the end of 2010.
In these years I changed more and more into making music and built
up my little "nandhaland" recording studio with a lot of enthusiasm and
affection.
With a new legal position in early 2011, I returned with a new page,
changing my url from "wanten" to "netnaw" (wanten read backwards).
My alter ego Andy Eel didn't return, nandhaland studio also closed
down. Instead (and once more) I focused only on my writing.
